Umar Sayed graduated from Georgia State University with a dual masters in Business and Healthcare Administration.
In 1999, Mr. Sayed founded Extended Care Centers, primary care facilities, with the goal of bringing quality healthcare to underserved communities in North Georgia. He served as CEO for 16 years and oversaw its growth and eventual sale. He was personally involved in developing and growing its charitable programs serving the underprivileged community. A large portion of the community benefited through a subsidized-healthcare program previously unavailable.
Mr. Sayed has developed, owned, and managed several commercial and residential real estate projects in the last 20 years. His formula for success and pragmatic approach to growth has taken his company, GAH, from a single asset operator to owner and developer of a portfolio of medical office buildings/complexes, real estate holdings and boat/RV storage and service center in and around Atlanta, Georgia.
